The City of Ember by Eudocia The City of Ember by Eudocia
I loved the series! My favorite scene in the first novel was when Lina went to purchase some colored pencils. I have been in that situation many times, and just felt such a connection to the character. Soon I will color this, since the bright color of the pencils are such an important factor in the book. Apparently the first book has already been made into a movie that's due to come out next October - can't wait!

The city of lights in a sea of darkness.

Love your style.

It sucks that the movie bombs at the box office

I guess artists all think the same. I also have that same yearning when it comes to sketchpads, I just can't resist buying new ones.
