I loved that movie, It left me speechless for a good 20 minutes afterward...
That's old alchemy, by the way. A mandrake root in a bowl of milk, fed blood, in a few weeks, a homunculus is born and is bound to protect you...

I don't know if you found that interesting, but I got really exited in the movie theatre...^^;
